I am a charter boat capt and fish very often.
I bought this reel basically because it looked cool and wanted to check it out.
I like the 3 pre-set drag settings, works well when live lining or chunk baiting in varied currents.
Reel is very smooth / fast and just feels like you have strong cranking power.
Casting is a bit difficult / the reel doesn't seem to have a way to change tension on the feel spool
So get ready to bird nest when u crank-out that big bunker chunk.
Other than that / real nice reel
Probably best used for deep dropping bottom fish w braid.

Got it for my son's birthday, went on a deep sea trip. Reel worked super while fishing the bottom, between 250 and 375' depths. Retreival was smooth and sensitivity superb. Great reel.
